I have a love-hate relationship with springtime. As someone with terrible allergies, most of the beautiful spring months is spent inside cradling a box of tissues and a cup of tea. As someone who lives in Atlanta, a city of unpredictable weather and sky high pollen counts, I've been watching the rain wash away streams of yellow powder for almost a month now. Finally this past weekend, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds, and my eager self was very excited to get outside, shop spring flowers, and do a photoshoot. You know... the usual one-woman show craziness.
Perhaps, too eager.
Alas, I've spent nearly the entire week in bed with an earache, a hacking cough, and a sinus congestion. Looking back, stuffing my face in a bouquet of flowers doesn't seem like a good idea. And for the name of art!! Neither popping pills of Allegra and guzzling jars of local honey can save me right now. Darn you, gorgeous spring, for tempting and luring me into the great outdoors! Though I'm being a tad overly dramatic, at least the pictures came out alright.
Hopefully all of you readers are having a lovely spring season so far. I don't know about you, but my countdown of summer has already begun! :)
